Prerequisites:
Education or Training—High school diploma required;
computer proficiency a necessity; for some positions,
an associate’s (two-year) degree in information technology
and/or secretarial and administrative science may be
required
Experience—Two to five years of clerical-related experience,
or administrative work in a technical field; work
experience on electric utility projects preferable
Special Skills and Personality Traits—Ability to prioritize
and handle multiple tasks, as well as prepare and
process documents and spreadsheets; capable of maintaining
organized and accurate filing/record keeping systems;
detail-oriented and able to work with numerical
data and process requests in a timely manner; effective
oral and written communication talents; self-starter and
team player; strong customer service and interpersonal
skills
Special Requirements—Certification as a Certified
Administrative Professional (CAP) is recommended

many computer courses as you can during your high
