Develops, administers, and monitors internal programs
to ensure compliance with applicable federal and
state laws and regulations; issues guidelines for marketing
of banking services to the public

Prerequisites:
Education or Training—Bachelor’s degree; postgraduate
education a plus; law degree may be a requirement in
some institutions
Experience—Two to four years’ related experience
Special Skills and Personality Traits—Excellent written
and verbal communication skills and organizational
skills; excellent research skills, computer literacy with
word processing and spreadsheet accounting programs;
extensive knowledge of all financial institution policies
and procedures; ability to read and interpret government
regulations, trade journals, and legal documents. Must
be able to respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies,
courts, and outside consultants
Special Requirements—Professional certification or
licensing is a plus
